Our Father which art in heaven, hollowed be Thy name.
Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth,
As it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread. and forgive us our debts,
As we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation,
But deliver us from evil:
For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory,
Forever and ever.
Amen

hey! when i first read that prayer as a kid i was like 'what does that mean?' and know i realize how simple it is. a lot of versions of the bible have long, hard words which is hard to understand. but thats because it was written in the middle east 2000 years ago. different culture, different language and different time. in the Message bible, the prayer he prays is actually so simple. and its the things that mean something to us. 'give us our daily bread'. to us it would be 'please provide our food'. the prayer is all about the things that are on our heart to pray. cuz Jesus right then was making a point. he said not to pray likethe pharisees and religious leaders who think they'll be heard cuz of their many loud words. but when you pray, go into your room and shut the door. and pray for the things on your heart. anyway, just a lil thought see ya luv anni
